**Safari: Pre-album launch **The TALENT **YOU MISSED

Okey okey I must admit it has taken me a while to give u this update and the rest of the happenings that took place over the last days of the week and the weekend. Thanks to our providers and the fibre optic cable that keep failing, anyway now that we are here.

I want to start off by thanking Aziza Musik for great event held at the Alliance Francaise last Friday, the gig called the Safari Pre-Lauch album was like a sneak preview of what they had in store for us later on in the year as they launch their album for real this time. There were a few curtain raisers and I got to hear 'Skiza' and 'Lele' which are among the fastest growing bands in Kenya if I may add Alliance Francaise has been a breeding area for all this sprouting talents.

I have seen talent grown slowly and steadily but i must admit AZIZA are aggressive and they are growing faster and steady in a very fast way ( i am not complaining by the way but in total dismay my mouth wide open at the talent possessed by this young lads.

I first heard them at a fashion show event almost and year ago and Music being a true definition of me, I enjoyed the beat and the sound thoroughly. They did a vernacular Kikuyu song so well that I had to ask around and was informed they are actually Luo's but the song was so we written and sounded so good that it immediately became my favourite.

That among the very many songs was to be performed that night and I was sure on the front line waiting to dance the night away.

They soon hit the stage Enos Olik, Sequiera Manasseh, and Maurice Muma, Don was the guy with the saxophone Oh My God did he get the ladies screaming.....they sang their songs one by one and as the crowd got cheered up the dance area was now busy.

**DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER!!**

View Comments
Alliance Francaise is one of the best places art has been breed and grown to be appreciated by many well the play...

Don’t Dress for Dinner is a frenetic case of mistaken identity with more twists than a corkscrew.

When Jacqueline(Maggie Karanja) decides to visit her mother for a few days, her husband, Bernard(Sam Psenjen), sees an opportunity for a cozy weekend with his new mistress(Idah Alisha). His bachelor pal Robert(Joe Kinyua) calls to announce his return from Kampala, and Bernard invites him along for the night. They also settle on hiring a cook(Nice Githinji) to cater a delicious dinner.

But when Jacqueline realizes Robert(Her Mpango Wa Kando) is coming home, she decides to cancel her trip, a move which changes everything and the high speed farce begins!

One impossible situation leads to another as the hapless friend Robert finds himself the target of both amorous attention from the cook and wrathful vengeance from his mpango wa kando, while Bernard tries desperately to rescue a scrap of illicit bliss from the wreckage of a weekend.

The highest and craziest level of mpango wa kando cover-up comes when two women—both named Suzy(Suzanne and Suzette)— must trade the roles of cook and mistress, just to save someone's face........
