I cant believe i have missed two paragashas whattttttt.....the fact is i am here now Ii gotta enjoy this i went with a friend great company i was with and I started spotting a few of my close people in the house Ian Mugoya, Munene Mutuma the hottest male actors in the country right now.

Polycarp and Chim of my fav ‘boys’ band SautiSol were in the building fresh from their USA tour in Texas and they were gonna rock it off with Stano another sensational neosoul artist who was on paragasha7 playlist.

Wanjeri, Anyix, Marcus, Kinyua, and Dela were also representing…noisemaking too.

By the time I got there I don’t know if I was early or late but I got Stan on stage backed by Polycarp on the guitar and he performed hits from his Kenya debut album that got the crowd warmed up and ready to handle the upcoming list of pure genius talent.

The sophomore affair**

It was here; Friday the 25th I swear this was a long time coming.

The legendary Sauti Sol the four-man band was launching their second album at the alliance Françoise (personally and I mean my own opinion like totally I think I wasn’t a bright idea considering the masses they pull) all in al it was happening no matter what.

The queue was outside s early as 4pm, the 7pm scheduled show was already proving to be a success, as tickets sold out at the located points as early at 10am and I remember people calling to inquire n where to get some.
The door also had tickets and they sold out 30minutes later.

It was on the emcee got on stage and welcomed al that made it into the venue and the ones locked out apologies were the only thing given to them.

DAVIS FROM UGANDA TAKES IT HOME: TPF4 WINNER

Yaani it took me a week to do this coz of crappy net connection....but here it is FINALLY

YES!! YES!! YES!! the MAIN MAN WON…..I know its later in the week and I should look for a better topic but excuse me…..DAVIS DESERVES the LAST RESPECT…hahaha.

This year’s Tusker Project Fame Season Four (TPF-4) came to an end on Sunday. The show is a continuation of one the biggest reality musical talent show in East Africa. It started in South Africa in 2004 where Kenya's Didge and Kaz represented talent but didn’t win, Later Tusker took it up and it was Tusker Project Fame.

This year, just like Rwanda last year, Southern Sudan was introduced. Alpha from Rwanda then went ahead to win the grand prize.

Kenya’s radio host Sheila Mwanyigha and Ugandan Dr.Mich Egwang moderated the lives shows staged at the Tusker Dome Headquarters Ruaraka.

Santo’s Mfalme Launches ‘Almasi’ Cologne**

The Kenyan artist launched his cologne last week at the Tribe Hotel Gigiri.
The event that started a bit late was blamed of the traffic swell that has hit the central business district on that particular night; however this did not stop a glamorous show from taking place.

Emcee for the night was with one Edward Kwach the new sensation on Easy FM co-hosting a show with Angela and he kept people entertained and busy, giving them head-up on what is happening to the show.

The models for the night had pink outfits that had a purple touch on them, the colours on the fragrance boxes.

TUSKER PROJECT FAME OWN COMPOSITION SUNDAY**

Sunday is here again worse than the eviction Saturdays, Sunday is actually the day they know who will be on probation, and performances are set a bar higher on Sunday to avoid the Eviction risk.

This was a special day were contestants had no worries about ‘CHOICE OF SONG’ as Ian puts it coz they were doing own composition.

To set the atmosphere right Sauti Sol the boy band in Kenya that has been making headlines for all the right reasons was on stage to give us hits from their album Mwanzo as they did Blue uniform and Lazizi.

They took the remainin three ladies Gaelle to Delvin Rachelle to Chimano and Amileena to Bien and sang to them lazizi….as soon as they got to the bridge the three remaining male contestants run towards the ladies and took them from the band boys as a sign of protection, leaving everyone laughing at the now skit looking performance.

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON AS TUSKER PROJECT FAME REACHES FINAL STRETCH**

Its four days to the Grand finale and the hunt for votes intensifies with all remaining six contestants up on probation.

There is hardly any show on television that has gripped an entire region with enthusiasm and excitement the way Tusker Project Fame has.

Emotions have run high with fans expressing both relief and grief as contestants are evicted from the TPF academy each week. With only 4 days to go, nine of the fifteen contestants have been evicted as the race heats up for Eastern Africa’s next superstar.

Of the six contestants left in the house, there are two Ugandans, two Kenyans with Rwanda and Tanzania each having one representative. The last standing Southern Sudanese representative, Paleki, was evicted during last weekend’s eviction show.
Who will walk away with the coveted five million Kenya shillings and the recording contract from Gallo Records?

TUSKER PROJECT FAME PALEKI'S EXIT**

You could smell the tension, the anxiety as the contestants made their way to the stage to tackled the last two weeks in the academy.

Six have already left Tom, Prudence,K-Denk, Leah, Gaga, Aneth, Gabiro and the seventh contestant was exiting Saturday.

On Probation was Gaelle(Rw) Paleki (S.Sudan)Steve (Ken) Msechu (Tz). From the four speculations were already hight that Gaelle of rwanda will be shown the door as she had been on probation all season long. To everyones surprise she actually didn't.

It was the end of the road for the southern Sudan beauty Paleki as she attained the least votes from the audience. She was the least likely to be shown the door as her talent was evident all through the season, but true to it fate has its course and too bad it wasn't n her side this night and she say the door.

she took it bravely but was a shocker to her too... "southern Sudan has talent and am glad i could represent my country this far" were her words as she did her own composition as her goodbye song.

CECE WINANS IN CONCERT**

If you have been to a concert in Bomas of Kenya, then you understand the crazy traffic that catches up with you at the entry point because of the one gate that serves entry and exit. I just wanted to explain why I got there waaaaay after the show had kicked off so unlike me and it was a piss off, but we managed to get in finally.

I dragged my two favourite people Mark and Kauchii you got to love the company this two brings to my life, Kauchii was a bit low she was sick and on meds but we managed to drag her out of bed, and off we set path straight to Bomas calls already coming in ‘hey Siteiya are u still coming’……

We got THE TRAFFIC I insist, I can swear that was the mother of all of them, worse thing is you can see the gate but u can’t leave the car and run to it. I have never felt so held back like that time, I wished I could fly or be a minister or the first/ second lady coz it was the 2nd ladies fault traffic was forming. She was apparently one of the guests attending the show and he convoy….JESUS!!

TUSKER PROJECT FAME SATURDAY REVIEW**

Eeehh I must admit this guy had the purest of hearts am going to dearly miss Gabiro so much.
So yeah that’s it Gabiro had to leave Saturday at this level of the competition its only clear that he was the guys most likely to leave.

So the four guys on probation were on stage but before that the Contestants gave us a special treat as they sang a song together as the final eight.
The beauty from the Nile Paleki took to the stage doing Habibi as Gaelle and Amileena backed her to it, she did a waaaay better performance than the previous show and definitely got good news from the judges.

Next was Gabiro, this guy has more than 9lives he has survived probation for 4weeks consecutively and he is still standing. He was taking up ‘Kweli Musa’ backed by Steve and Rachel and Rachel Msechu danced to the beat. I must admit this was the BEST performance he gave since the show began, but vocally he still needs more work.

Gaelle the other lady with the nine lives got on stage ready to take on ‘Wale Watu’ looking good in a balloon short dress that brough out her African look and she tried.


Amileena must have stolen the night, dressed in a ‘salsa like red dress’ she did ‘Twende Nairobi’ moving her waist a clear reminder she is from the coast….and boy can this gal dance and sing and have a smile at the same time whaaaatttt. She totally nailed it.

CECE Winans Lands and a TPF4- Eco Friendly Affair**

What an early Morning to rise on a Friday I must admit, I have never been that early since I started working.

Anyhoo this was one of those Fridays when all your favourite things want to happen at once and u are torn between the good and the best and u want to be in both to at least gather the better….okey that was my poetic moment.

Saturday was one of those emotional and sad eviction nights since the show started. Honestly I don’t think Leah should have left that house...at least NOT YET. Anyhoo… too bad we said goodbye to Leah (TZ)

Leah from Tanzania was the fifth contestant to say goodbye to the ongoing talent show. She was on probation last week with Gaelle Gaga and Paleki.

East Africa voted to keep Paleki which didn’t come as a surprise as she is among the favourite, but the faculty choice to save Gaelle left everyone in shock and the dome was now silent. Yeah someone explain to me HOW THIS HAPPENED!! I think money was poured to finish Leah.

The contests were now torn between Gaga and Leah from Tanzania and being the Rwanda advantage as most were seated Leah lost out to the determining vote by Gabiro from Rwanda who settled for Gaga.


The not very emotional Leah stood on stage and Msechu (Tz) ran up to her embarrassed her and cried making it impossible for her to do her last song. Aneth (Tz) was also very emotional and the dome was silent as everyone was surprised by the turn of events.

Leah had fun at her eviction party, and she was soon a trending topic on twitter and facebook as her fans were not really pleased with this.

Miss Malaika New Sudan Beauty Pageant**

It was pomp and glamor as the fifth edition of Miss Malaika New Sudan beauty pageant was launched Sunday night at the preliminary show held at the Nyakuron Cultural Centre grounds, Juba.

Fans turned out in large numbers to support their own beauty queens and also get a chance to be entertained by their favorite artistes and comedians.

And for the first time ever, Miss Malaika New Sudan went digital and fans had the chance to vote in their favorite contestants from the line-up of models, through text messages on Vivacell number 9595, as the judges did their final list of contestants.

The VIP guest list included Southern Sudanese Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and corporate giants operating from Juba and other parts of Southern Sudan.

Organized by Southern Sudanese Artistes Association (SSAA), a total of 22 Southern Sudanese models from different Southern Sudan states graced the catwalk in different attires, from the official Miss Malaika red dress color scheme to traditional, casual and finally dinner dresses.

Nine fashion designers showcase their collection for the first day of Swahili Fashion Week 2010 **

The third Swahili Fashion Week 2010 two hour fashion show started right on time with pomp and colour amid applauses from invited guests who consisted of who is who in Dar er salaam entertainment, business arenas and diplomatic corp world.

Held at Karimjee gardens, Nine fashion designers ;Manju Msita (Tanzania), Farha Sultan (Tanzania), Kemi Kalikawe (Tanzania),Malaria Haikubaliki (Tanzania), Sonu Sharma (Kenya) Asia Idarous (Tanzania), Zamda George (Tanzania), Shelina Ebrahim (Tanzania/ Canada) and Tanzania Mitindo House showcased their latest world class innovative Swahili designs.

Sixteen female and six male models strutted the catwalk gracefully as everyone put their heads forward to catch the glimpse of the night highlights. The interlude by MCee of the event, BBA 1 contestant who is also SFW Fashion Advisory Board member appealed to people to take all necessary precautions against malaria as it is the number one killer disease than HIV/Aids scourge in Africa .

Also, Swahili Fashion Week Shopping Festival has commenced. Numerous colorful stalls have filled the Karimjee Hall gardens. Artisans, craftsmen and fashion designers from various parts of the country and within Africa have converged to offer a taste of their unique products from the multiplicity of places that they have come from

Tusker Project Fame 4 Reviews Week 4**

I really loved the 'Igwe man' Juveh from Kenya but he was shown the door Saturday night as the awaited eviction night was held once again at the TPF4 dome. That is another Kenyan out in two consecutive nights of eviction.

The main aim I was going to the after party was to grab his amazing boots and coat and run FARRRR way with them I must commend the people dressing them this time. They are doing justice to the ladies especially and the guys look fantastic.
Sheila and Mitch have the coolest chemistry ever EVER!! well that's me i don't know about you!! and the person dressing them id definitely getting out of their way to do it and Saturday night outfit was B_E_A_Utiful.

I like the floor manager Maqbul he made Murua (Nairobi Living)make the loudest noise he can on stage just before the shoe began....and i will leave it to you to guess if he did it...i have proof

The viewers saved Steve from Kenya it was a little too obvious as his support and fan base has its foundation laid out well, and he was humbled and speechless when he heard his name called out from the envelope.

The faculty went on to save the emotional Amelina who had a rough week balancing tears amidst male contestants up for probation, I must admit the girls got a voice and a bag of chips and the faculty was right about her will to learn and make her the star, the housemates saved Gabiro the very emotional Rwandese who didn’t hold his tears, I just have a feeling that it wasn’t fair for all you have been living with in the same house to vote Gabiro, maybe it’s a strategy to keep the week and send off the strong so that their chances are batter, but heyyy that’s just me. So Gabiro got back and he just might pull a Ng’ang’alitto on those mates.

SAUTI SOL MAIN ATTRACTION AT BLANKETS & WINES 20TH EDITION**

Fresh from their European trip, Sauti sol were in the lineup for this month’s edition of Blankets and Wines, and they were definitely the main attraction as they has slowly but gradually grown to be among the biggest names in the Countries music scene.

Muthoni Ndonga a.k.a the DQ (Drummer Queen) is the brains behind the great Sunday afternoon time out and we cannot thank her enough.

In the lineup this edition was a new phenomenal with a different blend in music, known as Fena_Menal, the Kenyan residing in Denmark and recently launched her album at the Alliance in a breath taking performance Vqee, the man on the keys Aaron Rimbui also the brains behind ‘The keys of life’ and ‘Alfajiri’ Albums, which is advised a must have for all Kenyans, Sauti sol the Band that has changed the face of live music in the country was going to be the cream of the cake as they sample some of their new songs in the 2nd upcoming album.

Benganology What you MISSED**

So like a week ago one Chizi launched his album at a successful event held at the National Museum, with a great line up all i was waiting for is the album preview dubbed Benganoology, and i was with one Antoneosoul yet another great upcoming artist and the photographer with one of the heaviest cameras ever Munene i bet u have seen some of his work on Tru Love also check out www.cravemusicmag.com.

From the look of things it was going to be a cold but great night, and i made my way to the front off course some faces i knew i saw them, Pa the manager for The Villagers Band and Marcus Olang the brains behind Diary(well am a stalker hahaha)but the list is endless and i could go on and on...

**SUFURIA TECHNO _2 FIRST LADIESGOT TALENT-**

Hawa 2 happened and when I say happened I mean it REALLY HAPPENED. Capri7 at Hurligham was not a hard place to locate, I picked up my girl and changed front the annoying pants I had on that day and I was ready to ‘get down’.

I pity all those who missed out on this amazing music by the two first ladies (and yes they agree to share the throne haha). Muthoni the Drummer Queen and Dela were on their second tour around Nairobi, which is an initiative of Penya Africa(www.penyafrica.com) for the two ladies to bring people together with their two albums the Human condition and Paukwa respectively.

The rather cool night was a great night to hold the event compared to all the other cold nights that week had, and we may just call it luck, the show was to kick off at 9pm but a few hitches here and there we were on officially at 9:30pm.

Well, when we came from the bar to take our biting, we could barely move around, as the place was full now translating to the now filled parking lots.I was glad to see the usual gang fun and happy people, and we located a nice place away from al the night wind, and we were ready to kick start the night.
