paragasha 7 went dowwwwnn **

View Comments
I cant believe i have missed two paragashas whattttttt.....the fact is i am here now Ii gotta enjoy this i went with a friend great company i was with and I started spotting a few of my close people in the house Ian Mugoya, Munene Mutuma the hottest male actors in the country right now.

Polycarp and Chim of my fav ‘boys’ band SautiSol were in the building fresh from their USA tour in Texas and they were gonna rock it off with Stano another sensational neosoul artist who was on paragasha7 playlist.

Wanjeri, Anyix, Marcus, Kinyua, and Dela were also representing…noisemaking too.

By the time I got there I don’t know if I was early or late but I got Stan on stage backed by Polycarp on the guitar and he performed hits from his Kenya debut album that got the crowd warmed up and ready to handle the upcoming list of pure genius talent.

Abruising battle is in the offing as scribes tee off this Saturday in the 1st leg of the Airtel Media Golf Challenge 2011 at the Golf Park, Nairobi. This year’s event promises an even more exciting battle with winners carrying home a bounty of Airtel goodies.

Airtel has continued to support the media tournament, nurturing the talent of members of the fourth estate. The finals of the competition whose popularity has been souring over the years, will be staged at the same venue in December 2011.
One special addition will be the battle royale pitting the editors against reporters with the latter having an early morning tee. Airtel staff will also be incorporated into the competition, bringing in a new dimension.

In Kenya the condition is often referred to as mental handicap which is wrong because an Autistic persons brain capacity is much higher than a regular persons.

The sophomore affair**

It was here; Friday the 25th I swear this was a long time coming.

The legendary Sauti Sol the four-man band was launching their second album at the alliance Françoise (personally and I mean my own opinion like totally I think I wasn’t a bright idea considering the masses they pull) all in al it was happening no matter what.

The queue was outside s early as 4pm, the 7pm scheduled show was already proving to be a success, as tickets sold out at the located points as early at 10am and I remember people calling to inquire n where to get some.
The door also had tickets and they sold out 30minutes later.

It was on the emcee got on stage and welcomed al that made it into the venue and the ones locked out apologies were the only thing given to them.

MOHAWK HAIRSTYLE **

View Comments
So you can smell the Mohawk madness all around town and across Africa as if people are being paid to put it… LOL

Anyhoo I love Mohawk especially a certain someone who is special to me and has it on his head, maintains it clean and always shaped.
So it all started as American Indians traditionally wore mohawks to show which sect they were from. Only wild Indians wore the mohawk because it was meant to look like an axe blade.

Mohawk hairstyles were very popular in the 1980, when the aim was to get the spikes as long as possible and as colorful as possible.

These hairstyles were styled with glue and ironed flat, which was not the kindest treatment for the hair! Well thank GOD for technology!!

Modern mohawks are gentler and because there are so many different types, you can choose what kind of mohawk you think would suit you the best and play around with hair lengths and even color. A mohawk doesn't have to have all the hair pointed up.
You could use a thin strip of hair down the back of the head or even a small piece at the front and top of the head, which is angled forward. This is a particularly good way for a black woman to wear a mohawk.

A mohawk is a strip of hair running from the forehead, or further back, to the back of the head. The hair can be long, short, wavy, spiky or styled in another way.

HAREM PANTS (How to wear Them)**

View Comments
I had to get a pair of this amazing pants that were soon taking trend in the City and I got them in hot pink :) well excuse a gal for being cheeky but I love how and what Kenyan woman have become…. Now the mistake comes in how to really wear it?
Between the high, gathered waist, slouchy cut, and cropped leg, there's a lot going on with these super-hot harem-style pants—and at first glance, they definitely seem tricky. But that's the beauty of them: They're unique enough that you don't need anything else to look chic.
You're the girl rocking those cool pants in a roomful of boot-cut denim and overly thought-out accessories! That's a very cool thing to be. Here's the best part: They're actually very flattering.

A paper-bag waist carves out an hourglass shape, and the pegged leg (paired with a high heel—always) makes you seem all coltish and long-limbed. The important thing is to let them be the star of the outfit. So this is how to pull them off….

Harem pants are very tricky since they tend to accentuate body parts that women would like to hide.

The following tips help you in wearing harem pants in an extremely stylish way.
Indeed these pants work best with tall and slimmer figures. So if you have a fuller shape, you might think about wearing them with high heels in sophisticated fabrics. Stylists also advise it to ladies with wider hips, since the different fabrics can accentuate their strength.

The fabric you choose is very important. Those with slimmer figure can opt for any fabric, whether it's linen or cotton, they look fab.
Full figured women should wear them to have an elegant and refined look - choose silk or lycras. Fabric is as important as the pattern or the color of the harem pants.
