The Kenyan artist launched his cologne last week at the Tribe Hotel Gigiri.
The event that started a bit late was blamed of the traffic swell that has hit the central business district on that particular night; however this did not stop a glamorous show from taking place.
Emcee for the night was with one Edward Kwach the new sensation on Easy FM co-hosting a show with Angela and he kept people entertained and busy, giving them head-up on what is happening to the show.
The models for the night had pink outfits that had a purple touch on them, the colours on the fragrance boxes.
The place was soon filling up, people sipping on their wine; photographer’s getting the best shoots of the night, ladies and gentlemen looking ready to rock the night away.
Finally, the man of the night arrived, Santos made the grand entrance dressed in a nice Indian looking suit, and he talked about his dream to finally launch the cologne that will hit the Kenyan market by storm.
“I can now die, I have fulfilled my dream” Santos told siteiya.com after asking how he felt about the launch, he was excited and grateful to the 4th estate for making it to the launch and giving the unknown product the publicity it had already gotten.
He felt philanthropic, and gave each in attendance a fragrance to go sample.
Santos was a member of the XYZ group famous for the hit song ‘Tafuta’ and ‘Kinyamwa’ they however part ways with Alex and was now a business man and owns clothing shops for her and him called Shop 69 that are scattered in different towns Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru.
He was in the country early this year and promised to launch cologne for her and him to be supplied in all his shops.
He becomes the first Kenyan artist to join the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce who own their own fragrances.
