TUSKER PROJECT FAME OWN COMPOSITION SUNDAY**

Sunday is here again worse than the eviction Saturdays, Sunday is actually the day they know who will be on probation, and performances are set a bar higher on Sunday to avoid the Eviction risk.

This was a special day were contestants had no worries about ‘CHOICE OF SONG’ as Ian puts it coz they were doing own composition.

To set the atmosphere right Sauti Sol the boy band in Kenya that has been making headlines for all the right reasons was on stage to give us hits from their album Mwanzo as they did Blue uniform and Lazizi.

They took the remainin three ladies Gaelle to Delvin Rachelle to Chimano and Amileena to Bien and sang to them lazizi….as soon as they got to the bridge the three remaining male contestants run towards the ladies and took them from the band boys as a sign of protection, leaving everyone laughing at the now skit looking performance.


Sheila wore a red gown that was very beautiful as Dr. Mitch did his suits with a purplish shirt in there; they introduced the remaining 6 stars as the first got ready to go on stage.

Msechu the Tanzanian cartoon with a strong voice was up first, he had said in the previous show his song was purely Kiswahili in appreciation of his culture and where he comes from, dressed in a three-piece-suit he looked serious and when asked about his composition he said it was a serious song about anger titled ‘Hasira Hasara’ and that’s why he was in a suit.

Backed by the rest of the housemates Msechu took on a rather slow but well lyrical song, ‘Hasira Hasara’ that got everyone involved and dancing to the beat. It talks about anger and its consequences if not controlled he sure got everyone excited.
Atete Gaelle was up on stage this girl has been on probation ALL SEASON and when asked the love question by Mitch on Saturday she had a simple answer “Now Mitch I don’t have time for such things I have been on probation all season”.

She took up ‘Shikilia’ owning it to the things she has been through at the academy; she also urged everyone to hold on to whatever dreams they have and not give up in life. She has truly survived and surprised many as each week unfolds, truth be told she has grown.

South C’s finest Stevo did Benga and a Luo song "Nyar Suba." Was his composition of choice and he did it with so much rumble and low keys that gave a totally different touch to his music. Ian tried complaining saying that he should have added more English words, and on confirming there were some words he went ahead and said his diction was pathetic and he should work on it. However, Steve responded saying he might have a target audience that best understand Luo and that was his take.

Rachel claimed her right choice songs and hard work on it got her to survive probation all through the season and her song “Choose to be” was inspired by most of what she has gone through in her life and experience in the academy.

Amileena looked all cool and mellow in a yellow outfit as she did afro-neo, she really has listened to a lot of India Arie and Jill Scott and the like making her almost sound like them!! I loved her lyrics I don’t know why everybody else didn’t. It’s a fun song a song I would listen if taking a drive. She was however warned that it may be heard to penetrate the market with such a genre in Kenya.

Now I got to give it up to this guy DAVIS WHATTT I don’t know much of the lyrics but I heard…. ‘Shaker shaker’ and a bit of the dance step was really cool he tried teaching me but I got nothing :(. He however told Sheila his song wants to unite people and divided we fall together we unite. I personally LOVE Davis he is a tru defibation of NEVER GIVE UP having come to the academy last season and left at the OPENING GALA nit and he has made it this far??? AWESOMNESS

Michael Jackson Medley was the tune they all did as a team and had changed to pay tribute to the King of Soul as they made an environmental rendition of it. The tree planting day video was playing in the background screens.

The time was now up and probation list was to be called out. It’s now you and Your GOD Ian the Judge told them as they decided to place all six of them on probation.
